PickPredict ("we", "us", "our") is a web-based service providing AI-generated match analysis for the FIFA World Cup 2026. We are not affiliated with FIFA or any official tournament body.

When you create an account and purchase access, we collect:

• Email address
• Payment confirmation (processed by Dodo Payments — we never see or store your card details)
• Date and time of purchase
• Basic usage data (which pages you visit, when you access the app)

We do not collect: your name, phone number, physical address, or any identifying information beyond your email.

We process your personal data under the following legal bases as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Contract performance — processing your email and payment confirmation is necessary to create your account, verify payment, and grant access to the service you purchased.
• Legitimate interest — collecting basic usage data helps us maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve the service. This processing is proportionate and does not override your rights.
• Consent — if we ever send non-transactional communications (e.g. product updates), we will obtain your explicit consent first. You may withdraw consent at any time.

We use your data exclusively to:

• Create and manage your account
• Verify your payment and grant access to the app
• Send you transactional emails (purchase confirmation, access details)
• Maintain security and prevent fraud

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

All payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Your card details go directly to Dodo Payments and never pass through our servers.

Our service infrastructure is hosted by providers based in the United States, including our database and authentication provider, hosting provider, and AI service provider. If you access PickPredict from outside the United States (including the European Economic Area), your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection regardless of where it is processed.

We use a third-party authentication provider to manage user accounts and sessions. Your email address and session data are processed by this provider. We use browser local storage to maintain your session while you are logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. No third-party tracking scripts or pixels are present on this site.

We retain your account data until July 31, 2026 (two weeks after the tournament ends), after which inactive accounts and associated data are deleted. You can request deletion at any time before this date.

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format
• Restrict processing — request that we limit how we use your data
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
• Lodge a complaint — file a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with additional rights regarding your personal information. We do not sell personal information to third parties. You have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, and to request deletion of your data. Our service uses third-party AI models to generate match analysis and picks. These AI outputs may contain inaccuracies. No user data is used to train AI models. Prompts sent to the AI contain only publicly available match data, never user personal information.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. We do not store payment card data. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

This service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy. Any significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
